We act as a ‘personal estate agent’ for those who, for one reason or another, have no one that they can turn to, locally, to help them sell and move home.

For people who have not moved for some years. One might lack confidence. Knowing the pressured world of agency, as I do, I think I might be rather reluctant to make my way into some of the current High Street branches.

Perhaps relatives and friends are out of the area or even overseas. Maybe they live in the countryside with no local agent.

In some cases it might even be an executors’ sale which needs to be managed from a distance.

As we are more mature, professional, agents we have sometimes had to deal with these ‘facts of life’ ourselves, over the years, from time to time. We do know how you feel.

Agency Matters will:

• Advise. Initial, free, consultation to discuss your particular requirements at a date and time to suit you – seven days a week.

• Action. Act on your instructions to market the property - whether for yourself or for a relative or friend that you are responsible for by way of Power Of Attorney or Court Of Protection Order.

• Instruct. We will find the best, most effective, and profitable means of sale whether through our own web site, part exchange or other agents, according to the area.

• Attend. We will be available to attend viewings or entertain our vendor so that they do not need to be at home if they don’t want to.

• Monitor. Closely monitor the performance, advertising, feed-back and general pro-activity of the appointed agent.

• Progress. Liaise to ensure a smooth transaction with thorough sales progressing (sometimes called ‘sales-chasing’!) with special emphasis on ‘problem solving’ where necessary.

• Search. We will thoroughly research the current market and ‘short list’ suitable properties we feel worthy of consideration to purchase, if required. Viewings to prospective ‘new’ homes can be accompanied.
